1. Introduction

These terms and conditions govern your use of the National Nines Golf website and services. By using our website, entering competitions, or purchasing from our shop, you agree to these terms.

2. Competition Entry Terms

2.1 Eligibility

  • Entrants must be members of a 9-hole golf club in the relevant county/region
  • Entrants must hold a valid WHS handicap index
  • Both players in a pair must meet eligibility requirements

2.2 Entry Fees

  • Entry fees are non-refundable once paid
  • Fees cover administration and prizes as specified for each event
  • Finals weekend accommodation is included for qualifying pairs where stated

2.3 Competition Rules

  • All competitions are played under R&A Rules of Golf
  • Local rules will be provided for each venue
  • Handicaps will be verified through the WHS platform
  • The organiser's decision on any disputes is final

2.4 Withdrawal & Substitutions

  • Pairs may withdraw at any time but fees are non-refundable
  • Player substitutions may be permitted at the organiser's discretion
  • Substitute players must meet eligibility requirements

3. Shop Terms

3.1 Products

  • All items sold are donated pre-owned equipment unless stated otherwise
  • Items are sold in "as-is" condition as described
  • Photos are representative; actual items may vary slightly
  • All proceeds support National Nines Golf

3.2 Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable
  • Payment is processed securely via Stripe
  • Orders are confirmed once payment is received

3.3 Delivery & Collection

  • Collection is available from the Kent/Essex area at no charge
  • UK shipping is available for most items; costs calculated at checkout
  • Large items (trolleys, bags) may be collection only
  • Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed

3.4 Returns

  • Due to the donated nature of items, returns are generally not accepted
  • If an item is significantly not as described, please contact us within 7 days
  • Refunds or exchanges are at our discretion

4. Website Use

  • You may use our website for lawful purposes only
  • You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
  • We reserve the right to suspend access for misuse

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including the National Nines name and logo, is owned by National Nines Golf Ltd. You may not use our branding without permission.

6. Liability

  • We are not liable for any injury during competition play - players participate at their own risk
  • Our liability for shop purchases is limited to the purchase price paid
  • We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
